There is a beautiful town surrounded by a big lake, ‘Achiara’. The dead body of a pretty lady found in the middle of the day in the peaceful town shakes Achiara. Soyun is a young teacher from Canada. All the people in town walk on eggshells with the appearance of the stranger. Soyun finds a skeletal corpse near a lake during her first week of work. An uncomfortable stranger throws a peaceful town into chaos in a day. Even worse, the place Soyun stays in is apparently where the dead woman used to live. It is said that Achiara is actually not a peaceful area. Who attracted Soyun to this place and why? Who is the dead woman and who killed her? The people’s tightly held secrets are disclosed one by one despite their efforts to keep them hidden.
阿雉阿拉喻意为“小莲池”，如其名的村庄十分和平，几乎没发生过犯罪事件，突然有一天发现了已秘密埋葬很久的尸体，打破了平静的日常。随着尸体的出现，村庄不寻常的秘密逐渐浮出水面，村庄巡警朴宇材（陆星材饰）与英语老师韩素允（文瑾莹饰）在村庄合力追踪真相，揭开平凡之下深藏的丑恶 。
