Synopsis 剧情简介
能够成为一名对社会有用的人一直都是张志杰（梁朝伟 饰）的理想，长大成人后，充满了正义感的他选择成为了一名警察。在与女友谢颖芝（张曼玉 饰）分手后，志杰接受了林佩贤（黄造时 饰）的追求，两人走到了一起。
倪峰（刘青云 饰）是志杰的师兄，一次意外中，由于志杰的疏忽，倪峰遭遇 了车祸身负残疾，自暴自弃的他离开了警队，淡出了众人的视线。志杰有一同父异母的兄弟名为家明（戴志卫 饰），与志杰是同行，最近，家明因被卷入一宗诈骗案之中而遭到了追杀，杀手不是别人，正是消失已久的倪峰。家明死了，凶器竟然是志杰的配枪，志杰因此亦被卷入案中。为了证明自己的清白，志杰开始了对案件的调查。
Being able to become a useful person to society has always been Zhang Zhijie (played by Tony Leung)’s ideal. When he grew up, he was full of a sense of justice and chose to become a policeman. After breaking up with his girlfriend Xie Yingzhi (played by Maggie Cheung), Zhijie accepted the pursuit of Lin Peixian (played by Huang Zaoshi), and the two came together.
Ni Feng (played by Liu Qingyun) is Zhijie’s senior brother. In an accident, due to Zhijie’s negligence, Ni Feng suffered a car accident and became disabled. After giving up on himself, he left the police force and faded out of public sight. Zhijie has a half-brother named Jiaming (played by Dai Zhiwei), who is traveling with Zhijie. Recently, Jiaming was involved in a fraud case and was hunted down. The killer was none other than Ni Feng, who has disappeared for a long time. Jiaming died, and the murder weapon turned out to be Zhijie’s gun, so Zhijie was also involved in the case. In order to prove his innocence, Zhijie started investigating the case.
