Drug lord Wen Hua controls more than half of the drug trafficking business in Hong Kong. In order to bring him to justice, the police arrange for criminal policeman Ye Haotian to go undercover.
After a period of time, Ye Haotian (Edwin Siu) gains Wen Hua’s (Moses Chan) trust and seizes the opportunity to arrest him. Wen Hua is a changed man after his imprisonment. He even mentions in an interview 12 years later that he regrets his criminal past. At this time, Wen Hua is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Because of his good behaviour, the police decide to release him on parole so he can enjoy his last days in peace. Unexpectedly, more than ten years of prison life has done nothing to make Wen Hua change his ways. He not only kickstarts his old business, but also gets involved in a murder case. He and Ye Haotian will soon have another showdown.
