Love in the Moonlight 云画的月光 Synopsis

Love in the Moonlight is a fusion fantasy sageuk youth romance about Crown Prince Lee Young (Park Bo-Gum) who falls in love with his eunuch Hong Sam Nom (Kim Yoo-Jung). Unbeknownst to him, Sam Nom is actually a woman Hong Ra On who’s forced to cross-dress as a man by her mom to protect herself. Beside fighting with his feeling, unable to express it to Sam Nom, he has to deal with political issues thrown by Prime Minister Kim & his ‘minions’ and arranged marriage to Jo Ha Yeon (Chae Soo Bin) set-up by King Soonjo. Prime Minister Kim’s grandson Kim Yoon Sung (Jin Young) isn’t afraid of expressing his feeling ever since he finds out she’s a woman while Crown Prince Lee Young’s loyal bodyguard Kim Byung Yeon (Kwak Dong-Yeon) secretly has been helping Chief Eunuch Han (Jang-Gwang) to protect Ra On. Crown Prince Lee Young’s & Ra On’s twisted fate & their forbidden love story is heartwrenchingly beautiful especially after Ra On’s dad’s past is unveiled.

It is a coming-of-age story and youth romance set during 19th-century Joseon Dynasty based on the novel Moonlight Drawn by Clouds which was first serialized on Naver in 2013 and consequently published as a five-part series of books in 2015. A domestic and overseas hit, Moonlight achieved peak audience rating of 23.3% in South Korea and received praise for its production, performances and music. The press referred to its popularity as “Moonlight Syndrome” as it topped topicality, content and brand reputation charts in and beyond its run.

Angry Mom 憤怒的媽媽 Synopsis 剧情简介

Cho Kang-ja (by Kim Hee-sun) was once legendary for being the toughest, most feared troublemaker at her Busan high school. When she gets pregnant in her late teens, she drops out of school and tries to become a responsible mother to her daughter. Oh Ah-ran (by Kim Yoo-jung). When Ah-ran befriends the class outcast, it makes her the target of the school bullies who make her life hell; yet she’s too proud to tell her mother what’s happening. When Kang-ja finds out that her daughter is getting bullied, she decided to take matters into her own hands. Unbeknownst to Ah-ran, she enrolls in her daughter’s high school as an undercover student with the false name “Jo Bang-wool” to teach those bullies a lesson. But she learns that there are bigger, darker problems within the educational system and Kang-ja makes it her mission to put a stop to the school violence, with the help of Ah-ran and naive, idealistic homeroom teacher Park No-ah (by Ji Hyun-woo).
