Synopsis

The Hong Sisters, famed romantic-comedy screenwriters, flirt with horror in this unique take on opposites. Joo Joong Won (So Ji-sub) is a rapacious CEO who is only concerned about money. His secretary, Tae Gong Sil (Kong Hyo-jin) is a dark and reticent insomniac who is burdened with the ability to see ghosts. Geum Jan-di (Koo Hye-sun) is from a poor family and is admitted to the prestigious Shinhwa High School after stopping a student who was being bullied from committing suicide. Shinhwa High was established by Shinhwa Group, the biggest conglomerate in Korea, and is attended by the scions of the wealthiest families. At Shinhwa, she finds that a group of rich and good-looking boys called “F4” (“Flower 4”) who enjoys tremendous popularity. The F4, however, thinks nothing of humiliating others, and often issues a “red card”. Whoever finds the dreaded red card in his or her locker subsequently becomes the target of bullying by the entire student body. Jan-di detests all this circus, but receives a red card herself and is bullied, after she stands up for one of her fellow classmates. Eventually, she begins to have feelings for one of the F4, Ji-hoo (Kim Hyun-jung), but also discovers that the leader of the group, Jun-pyo (Lee Min-ho) is falling for her too……

Prism Breaker depicts the collaboration between three major law enforcement agencies, namely, the Hong Kong Police Force, ICAC and Department of Justice. Although they are on different missions, but they risk their lives to deal with the evil force with the same righteousness. While investigating crime syndicate boss Tai Cho-fuk (Dominic Lam), SIP Chow Chun-kit (Bosco Wong) experiences the loss of loved ones and betrayal by colleagues. While looking into a case involving some snitch, ICAC Senior Investigator Ko Ho-yin (Kenneth Ma) faces the dilemma of turning against his family or disregarding justice. After joining the police force, Kwok Pak-fei (Joel Chan), Keung Hey-man (Moon Lau) and Lau Lik (Jazz Lam) look up to their mentor Law Yau-bong. The quartet have developed a close relationship. Crime profiler Fong Yat-chun (Carlos Chan) receives a bizarre distress call, and the caller is astonishingly from the future. They predict brutal murders are going to take place!
